Lush Christmas Haul

Recently I've picked up a couple of LUSH bits and bobs and my friends have also got me some for Christmas presents. I love LUSH so much and all of the Christmas products are so nice and special. So I thought I'd do a LUSH haul and if you're as obsessed as I am, I hope you like it!

So firstly, when I popped into LUSH the other day I bought this mini Snow Fairy shower gel. I love the snow fairy scent and so I thought it would nice to get this and it's such a classic LUSH Christmas scent.

Then my amazing friend Phoebe, got me 'The magic of Christmas' bubble bar and the 'Comforter' bubble bar (which she knew was my favourite!). The magic of Christmas bubble bar is so beautiful and it just screams Christmas. It is on a cinnamon stick and it has cloves pressed into it (amazing!). I also love the cute little ribbon on it and the bell.
The comforter isn't actually one of the LUSH Christmas exclusives, but I just thought I'd include it in this post anyway. It smells amazing (like ribena) and is definitely my favourite product from lush. It's also so big, so you can use it quite a lot of times.

When I was in town I also picked up up the 'Luxury lush pud' which I had last year as well and absolutely love. It's so colourful and looks amazing when you put it in the bath. It also smells like lavender and every time I walk into my room I can smell it straight away and its so nice

I then really wanted a sort of spicy smelling bath bomb, so 'cinders' was perfect. I tried it last year and really liked it, but I feel like you have to be in the right mood. It also has popping candy on the top which I think is really cute.

Next I have two golden wonder bath bombs. My friend got me one for Christmas and then I got the 'Golden wonder' gift box from my brothers girlfriend, which includes a 'golden wonder' bath bomb and the 'star dust' bath bomb. I just think that the 'golden wonder' bath bomb is so cute and is really exciting as it is shaped like a present. Also, there are little stars in it so when you shake it you can hear them inside rattling. It aslo is blue inside which you wouldn't know from the outside.

Like I said this bath bomb ('Star dust') came in the 'Golden Wonder' gift box and it is so cute. It smells like vanilla but a little christmassy to which is nice and I just think this is perfect for when you don't want a crazy colourful bath.

Cute DIY Polaroid Bunting

In my room I have a little Polaroid bunting string along one wall, and I think it's so nice and you can switch up the photos for anything you want. So as it's Christmas, I now have a lot of christmassy pictures on it. However, in the summer I had pictures from my holiday and beaches. This bunting is really easy to make so I thought I'd show you how. It's a really cute room decor idea and you can personalize it however you like.

To start off you need...

  • Scissors
  • String (make it an bit longer than the wall you are going to put it on, so it can hang down a bit)
  • Pictures (you can have real Polaroids if you have a Polaroid camera, but I just printed some photos off and cut around them in a way that a Polaroid would be cut. You can pick any pictures you want; quotes, fun times with friends, pets etc.)
  • Pegs (smaller pegs work best and these one with little floral patterns on were from the Works)
  • Drawing pins (to pin the bunting up)

To find some really cute festive photos I just typed in 'Christmas tumblr' on google images. But you can go on pinterest or tumblr if you would like.

Then just print them off and cut them out and hand on the string. It's as easy as that!

Thank you for reading! Let me know if you make one of these and show a picture,

Christmas On Your Nails

I feel like around Christmas time, is the main time when you can have sparkly nails. This Barry M nail polish in 'Jingle Bells' is amazing. It is full of gold and red glitter/confetti and little silver stars, which are really cute.

I paired this nail polish with Barry M's 'Cotton' because I love white nails, and with sparkles over the top they look even better. I also think that this will look nice with a red or dark green polish underneath.

Thank you for reading! Let me know what your favourite Christmas nail polish is,

The Body Shop Born Lippy's

These lip balms are a classic Body Shop product. They are a fruity lip balm that is meant to moisturise and condition your lips. Which I definitely think they do, as they have fair trade beeswax in. My favourite is the Strawberry or Pashionberry, but they are all amazing and smell so nice! They also leave a tint of colour on your lips and a shine finish, which I think is really nice and makes it more than just a normal lip balm. They are also such good value for money as they are only £2 each from The Body Shop.

Let me know what your favourite born lippy is, and thank you for reading!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Deck The Hauls Advent Calendar

This year I had the Tanya Burr Cosmetics 'Deck The Hauls' advent calendar and I loved it, so I thought I'd show you what you get inside it, to give you an idea, in case you wanted to get one of them next year. To start though I'd just like to say how amazing it is that she can have the chance to do this and have her own makeup range. She works so hard and I know that currently she is working on a mascara to add to her cosmetics line. She is one of my favourite youtubers so this calendar felt so special and I definitely think that's the kind of feel she was going for.
I was so excited to get this and I loved opening it everyday. It was originally £25 from Superdrug, but was then on offer for £15, which is amazing price for all that you get inside the calendar. It is a beauty calendar that has 12 days, so 12 exclusive products in each door. There were two nail files with different cute designs, one heart shaped pocket mirror, two shimmer pots, two nail polishes, three lip glosses and two different lashes.

The two nail files inside are really nice. I love the design on them and they are such a handy thing to have, so when I opened the doors I was like 'YES!'.

The two false lashes are in 'Girl next door'- which is the natural pair, and 'Party girl'- which is the more 'WOW!' pair, which is what I thought when I opened it's door. They also come with a tube of lash glue which is really good.

The three mini lip glosses were 'Bewitching'- which is a really nice colour for autumn and winter as it's a dark red/purple, 'Macaroon'- a really pretty natural peachy pink colour, and 'Candy Frost'- a sparkly pink colour. They are so nice and smell like vanilla. They are not sticky at all on the lips and are just really smooth.

The two shimmer pots are also gorgeous. There is 'Creme Brulee' (left) and  'Starry Night' (right). I do find them quite tricky to use and a bit messy, but maybe that's just me because I'm used to using eye-shadows and have never used a loose powder before. I do think that they are really pretty though, and do want to wear them over Christmas.

The two full size nail polihses (my favourite) are in 'Carnival night'- which is BEAUTIFUL. It is a purple colour with tonnes of colourful glitter in (perfect for Christmas!). And 'Under the sea'- which is a dark blue colour also with blue, green and silver glitter in.

The mirror is also just like everything else so nice! It's just a small one, so it's really handy and perfect for handbags and I think I'll definitely be using this.

Christmas Q&A

Favourite Christmas memory? - @mxllxem

I'm not really sure what my favourite christmas memory is, because I love so much about Christmas. However on Christmas Day I love getting up really early and seeing my stocking at the end of my bed and then going downstairs and seeing all the presents under the tree. There's just something so special about it and I'm getting really excited writing this! I also love how every year my family have a massive Christmas dinner and we pig out so much! I literally eat as much as I can and I'm not even ashamed of that, haha!

What's your favourite Christmas Song?- @bectavendale.cet

I love 'We wish you a merry Christmas' because it's just such a classic and whenever I hear that know it's Christmas. But I also like Mariah Carey's 'All I want for Christmas is you'. I just think it's such a nice song and I love it. Recently I've also been obsessed with Ariana Grande's 'Santa tell me'. It's so good and her voice is amazing. It also just puts me in such a happy mood.

What's on your Christmas wish list?- @itslaurenvictoria

Lot's of little things really. I've asked for some of Tanya Burr and Zoella's Christmas cosmetics and also this really cute Buddha statue thing that is really nice and pretty, to put on my shelf. Also I've asked for some walking boots as in the summer I have a school trip to Iceland, which I can't wait for! but I need some good walking boots as we will be doing lot's of long walks on the ice caps and near waterfalls and things like that.

Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?- @carensagreen

CHRISTMAS DAY! I do love Christmas Eve but I feel like only the evening is fun. Also I get really annoyed at night because I can never get to sleep, as I'm so excited for the next day. I just feel like Christmas Day is so special and it's what you've been waiting for and everything about it is amazing.

Do you have any traditions you do on Christmas Eve?- @sophiexlouisa

Just the norm really. I put my stocking out ready for 'Father Christmas' (aka my parents ;), and we also leave a mince pie or cookies out for him and a carrot for the reindeer. Me and my brothers also get to open one present each, which is so exciting! We also all watch some TV as there's always something christmassy on.

What Time do you wake up on Christmas day?- @amybatchen

Well, I wake up at around 4 or 5 in the morning but I always try to get to sleep for a bit because that's just way too early. So I then get up at around half past 6 and go into my little brothers room, or he comes into my room, and we open our stockings.

What is your favourite thing about Christmas?- @secretsofbeauty_x

This is SO hard to choose. I love almost everything about it! But it would probably have to be how festive everything is and how excited people get. I also love all the Christmas lights and decorations that go up and how pretty it makes some houses look. The food is also amazing and I love that at Christmas you don't have to care about what you eat and you can just pig out.

Soap & Glory Faves

Soap & Glory is definitely one of my favourite brands ever. Their makeup is so nice and so is all their other products. Everything smells amazing too, which I love So I thought I'd share with you some of my faves from them!

Hand Food- hand cream
I have gone through so many of these and always go back to it, when I have finished. It is SO moisturising and after a couple of times using it, my hands are so soft and smooth. It says that it smells like marshmallow, which I think it does a bit, but it's more floral. Along with Zoella Beauty's Wonder Hand this is my favourite hand cream ever.

Hand Maid- hand sanitizer
I always have one of these in my bag wherever I because it smells amazing unlike a normal hand sanitizer and is just really nice.

Mist You Madly- body mist
I feel like this is such a classic Soap & Glory scent and I love it. I have have a mini version of this too that I keep in my schoolbag and use almost everyday. I think the bottle is so cute and girly and I love that it lasts a long time.

Butter Yourself- moisture lotion
I really like the scent of this and when ever I use it the scent lasts ages and it is so moisturing. This has also lasted me such a long time and I have used it a lot but there is still a lot of product left.

No Clogs Allowed- Face Mask
my skin feels so smooth after I use this and I feel like it really does un-clog my pores. It's also pretty cool as it's a self-heating face mask, so it feels quite funny. I also sometimes use this with the Soap & Glory 'scrub your nose in it' and they both work so well.

Supercat- eyeliner
I don't wear eyeliner that much but when I do I always use this. It's so easy to use and is really black. I have already done a whole blog post on this so if you want to check that out then just click here.

One Heck Of A Blot- powder
This keeps my face matte for a while, but still looks nice on the skin and when I put it on, my face feels so smooth. I also LOVE the packaging and inside there is a really nice mirror.

Thank you so much for reading! Let me know your faves from Soap & Glory and I hope you're enjoying my blog this December as I'm posting every other day!
