7 Makeup Items To Try In Superdrug

There are some amazing makeup brands and products at the drugstore (Boots and Superdrug) that You need to know about! (if you don't know already). I have 7 things that I use a lot and  just think you need to try!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics- Perfect Brows
This brow palette really is perfect. It comes with three brow shades and one highlighter. It's perfect for everyone because you can choose what colour to use that would suit you, and the ones that you don't use also work great as eye-shadows. I've also heard people compare them to Mac eye-shadows, and say they are similar/the same quality, which is really great for a drugstore palette. It also comes with a mini brush and a pair of tweezers.

Collection Eyes Uncovered Eye-Shadow palettes
These palettes are so amazing. The shadows are creamy, really pigmented, and long lasting. I have the Nude Palette and all the shades are beautiful. They are perfect every day colours and they are so shimmery.

Bourjois Delice De Poudre Duo
I love this in the summer, but it's also great all year round. The highlighter in it is so shimmery but not glittery which is nice as it looks quite natural and the bronzer in it is really nice. I've had this for a while now and use it every day (when I wear makeup)  and I still haven't hit pan. Its got a slight shimmer to it, but not too much and it's also quite natural.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
A lot of people love this mascara and it's been raved about A LOT on YouTube/the beauty blogging community. It coats every lash so well, it gives length and volume and it lasts (I know right, AMAZING).

L'oreal Paris True Match Foundation
This is my go to foundation and I love it so much. They have, however, changed the packaging now so it looks a little different, but it's so good! It has quite good coverage, it hasn't got a dewy finish, but it isn't really matte either and also it doesn't feel heavy on my skin.

Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner
I have done a whole blog post on this, so if you are interested in it you can click here.

Nivea Lip Butter- Raspberry Rose
Not going to lie, when I first purchased this I hated it. But now I love it, which is really weird how that can happen. I didn't like how it made my lips look really pale because of the pastel pink colour, but now I don't  mind because I don't wear it out of the house, I just wear it at home because it's so moisturising and it smells amazing!

Let me know if there's anything that I need to try in Superdrug or Boots! And also let me know if you like these products too! happy shopping!

Skin Care Routine #1

For this post I thought I'd do a skin care routine as I've recently been trying a couple of new products and love them!

I use the Neutrogena visibly clear pore & shine daily wash every morning and evening. I only recently got this but love it, as I feel like its helped to clear up my skin a bit. It's also great for oily skin. However there is also one that is for dry skin that is pink.
Before I use this in the evening though I either use the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish or the Garnier Micellar Water to cleanse my face or if I have any makeup on, just to take that off.

Simple is one of my favourite Skin care brands and all the products I've tried from them I really like. I use their oil balancing moisturiser in the evening which I really like as it's not greasy at all and as I have quite oily skin that's a good thing.

Then in the morning I use the Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Shine Control day moisturiser. I've been using this for a while now and I just really like the gel like formula and as it has tea tree and witch hazel in it, it's meant to help keep spots away.

I use Simples kind to eyes revitalising eye roll-on too as I don't get very dark circles under my eyes so I don't use a rich moisturiser. This simple one is perfect though as its a gel formula and it soaks in very quickly.

I also use Witch Hazel just to put on any spots or blemishes that I have as it is meant to help them heal quicker.

There are also some things that that I don't use everyday but maybe once or twice a week.
I love using LUSH face masks and the ones I'm using at the moment are Cupcake and Mask Of Magnaminty. Cupcake is definitely my favourite one I've tried so far. It's perfect for teenage skin and it also smells like chocolate which not gonna lie, makes me love it even more.

I also use the Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It facial scrub. I just use this on my T-zone as its meant to help get rid of blackheads and clear your pores.

Then like I've said I'll either use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water or the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to cleanse my face, but most of the time I'll use the Garnier one as its so easy to use and sometimes I just can't be bothered to use the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, especially if I've had a long day at school.

So that's it! it'll probably change around a bit in the future so that why I've put this post as #1, because I might do more of them. Thank you for reading! I'll see you next week with another post.

Pamper Evening Essentials

I think that every so often it's so nice just to have some me time and have a pamper evening. Especially if you have work or school that you might be getting stressed about, it's always nice to just relax and these are some of the things that I think are essentials!

So first of all I like to run a bath. I like to use a LUSH bubble bar sometimes and here I also had a bath bomb. And then light some candles as I feel they just relax you so much and they also look really cute around the bath. Obviously you don't have to do this, I just think that it makes it so much more relaxing when you have a few candles burning.

Next If I'm wearing any makeup I'll just take it off and I use the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish if I want to have a proper cleanse. Or I'll use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (which is amazing!).

Also I think it's nice to get a drink and you can have whatever you want. If you love hot drinks you could go for a tea or hot chocolate and if you like cold drinks you could go for water or something refreshing.

Next I'll use a face mask or scrub on my face. This is just so nice to do as it just makes your skin feel so nice and clean afterwards and it also helps to clear your skin. The LUSH face masks are amazing and I'm really loving the Cupcake one at the moment. I usually just leave this on until I finish my bath.
You could also use a body scrub at this point too.

Then when I get get out my bath I like to use a body moisturiser and I've been loving this Soap & Glory Butter Yourself moisture lotion recently. I've actually used it so much but it's hardly gone down, so I have a feeling it will last me a while.
You can also paint your nails on a pamper night if you want to, which I know a lot of people like to do. However I feel like painting my nails is a big job and I'd rather save that for another time. And I don't know about you but I honestly can't be bothered to paint my nails after a bath

I hope you enjoy your little pamper sessions from now on, if  I've missed out anything or there's anything else you like to do on a pamper evening let me know in the comments as I'd love to see what over peoples essentials are!

The Perfect Nude Nails

I'm a big fan of the Barry M nail polishes anyway, but this colour in particular is beautiful. It's called Lychee and is in the Gelly High Shine range. I really like this range anyway as I think they go pretty opaque in two coats, they have such a variety of shades and they really do have a 'High Shine'.

This shade really is the perfect nude colour as I feel like it's really discreet and sometimes I can get away with wearing it at school (I know right, sneaky). This is definitely one of my favourite nail polishes ever. what do you think of it?
