July Favourites ♡

Hi!

So I thought as this month there have been quite a few things I've been loving, I would do a monthly favourites.

So first of all I have 3 makeup favourites.

I've been loving the No7 Stay Perfect Foundation, as it stays on all day. I have it in the shade 'Calico', which is perfect for me in summer. (even though it's the lightest shade they do, its still not that pale).

I've also been loving the Sleek Brow Perfecter, as it just keeps your eyebrows in place all day and it's really easy to use. I just use the clear one at the moment, I might get a coloured one soon, but its hard to find the right shade when you are a redhead.

My last makeup favourite is the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Eye-shadow palette. For everyday I only use the first 3 shades and they are very pigmented and stay on for a really long time, which I'm really impressed with. They are also quite creamy and really shimmery.

Next, I have 3 skincare favourites.

First is the Garnier Soothing Vitamin-enriched Toner. I have practically finished this now and really need to get a new one. I basically just put a bit on a cotton pad, then wipe it over my face before i moisturise. I like it because it's so soothing and it make your skin really smooth. it also smells quite nice, but it has no added perfume which is good, as it won't irritate your skin.

Also, I've been loving this Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalising eye roll-on. As my eyes are quite sensitive and in the morning when you use it, it really does wake up your eyes. it also helps that it's got a metal roll on, which is cold on your eyes.

And finally my last skincare favourite is for my body and its The Body Shops Moringa Body Butter. I love this because it smells SO GOOD and it is so moisturising.

Next, I've been loving this top from Topshop. It's quite flowy and its cropped. It also comes off the shoulder slightly and it has cute little flowery detailing on it.

Then I've also been really liking this Lush Shampoo that a friend got for me for my birthday. It's called Fairly Traded Honey and it smells just like honey (obviously *face-palm*). It makes my hair feel so clean (almost squeaky clean, which is weird but it's so nice) and it's also so good for your hair.

Next I have this Green Apple & White Freesia Body Mist from Zara that another friend got me for my birthday. I have used this quite a lot even though it doesn't look like it, so I can tell it will last a long time. It smells so fresh and the scent hangs around if you know what I mean. Like, if i spray it in the morning, later on in the day I'll still be able to smell it. *suddenly gets a waft of it now*.

And last but not least is Sprinkle Of Glitters book 'Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter'. If you don't know who Sprinkle Of Glitter is, she's a Youtuber and and beauty blogger. I love this book so much! it's so pretty and full of information and pictures. The chapter are ' Glitz, 'Create', 'Need to knows', and 'all about love'. It's also so cute because it's so small and as you can see the cover is just so gorgeous.

I also quickly have a few Youtube favourites. I've really been liking watching Simplynessa15, Meg Says, and Emily Rose's videos.

My Cat :) ♡

This post is going to be something a little different. I'm going to introduce you to my cat. His name is Frodo and he is literally like my baby. He's 4 or 5 years old (we don't know exactly as we got him from a cat rescue place around a year and a half ago). He's black and white, with green eyes (duh, you can see) and he hasn't got a tail because he had an accident and got run over by a car :( .
But to be honest he looks more adorable now as he's really muscley (and a bit chubby), then he's got this cute little stump for a tail, awwwww. He's also really funny because he rolls over on his back a lot and just lays there for ages with his little chubby arms and legs facing up. If you're following me on Instagram you might see some pictures I put up of him too and my brother also always posts pictures of him on his Instagram.

Westfield Haul ♡

Hi!

So, yesterday my friends and I went shopping in Westfield, London. It was my friend Nicoles birthday not long ago so we went there and had pizza express too, to celebrate it.
I picked up a few things so I thought I'd do a little haul and show you what I got!

Firstly I got a few things from Zoella's Tutti Fruit range at superdrug. The first thing I got was the Zoella Beauty Candy Cream softening body lotion. I'm really excited to use this as I've heard great things about it.

Next I got the Zoella Beauty Foam Sweet Foam cleaning shower gel which I think just looks really cute and like everything else in her range, smells amazing!

And then I also got the cosmetic/coin purse. I think that it is just the perfect size for your handbag or schoolbag and i can't wait to use it.

Next I got the Mango Body Sorbet from The Body Shop. I got this because my friend had some and I tried it and it was soooo nice! It smells like you could eat it and it soaks into your skin so quickly as it isn't like a normal body lotion or butter.

I also got this Simple kind to eyes Revitalising eye roll-on, as i don't own an eye cream/gel yet and my eyes are quite sensitive, so i feel like Simple would be the best brand to get one from.

I then went into Kiko with my friend and picked up this eye shadow, as i think its soooo pretty and i've never owned anything from Kiko before.

In superdrug I also picked up another Sleek Brow Perfector, as the one i have now is running out.

Then I also just picked up some nail polish remover as i'm running out of that too.

And finally my friends and I went to the models own counter thing and I got this nail plish in the shade 'Lilac Icing'. The woman there said that it would really suit my skin tone and also that its a really summery colour, which i totally agree. Then I also got a free nail Buffer , which is actually quite good.

Review: Real Techniques Makeup Brushes ♡

Hi!

So i'm thinking of doing lots of reviews on this blog as well as everything else, so I hope you like them. This first review as you can probably tell from the title is going to be a review of Real Techniques Makeup Brushes.

I have the 'Core Collection' set (which also comes with a little case to carry your brushes in), the 'Setting Brush', the 'Powder Brush', the 'Blush Brush', and the 'Expert Face Brush'. But i REALLY want to get the 'Eyes Starter set' too. So I think I'll save up for that!

'Core Collectoin'
'Setting Brush'
'Powder Brush'
'Blush Brush'

'Expert face Brush'
What I like about these brushes are that they are really soft. They are also all synthetic, so they aren't harming animals, which is definitely a pro. They are also quite good quality for the price and I love that they are all colour co-ordinated. The 'Base' brushes are a sort of orangey gold, the 'Finish' brushes are pink, and the 'Eyes' brushes are purple. There are lots of different brushes and I find that they all just work so well to apply makeup. They also never malt, which is amazing! I also love the design of them and how they look. They have a metal handle and then a sort of smooth plastic at the end. Some of them also sort of flare out at the bottom a bit.

If you're not sure about what these brushes are, they are basically 'high tech' makeup brushes designed by Sam and Nic Chapman (who are sisters). They are professional makeup artists and they also have a YouTube channel ('realtechniques' and 'pixiwoo') where they post makeup tutorials and show you how to use their brushes at their best. You can get these brushes at Superdrug and Boots (in the UK). I DEFINITELY recommend them!

Real Techniques also have a 'Bold Metals' collection.

However, I don't have any of these yet. They are very expensive, as they are premium, they are weighted, they have a diamond shaped anti-roll handle, each bristle is tapered to mimic real hair, and the bristled are hand tied and glued in.

A Flowery Day ♡

Hi!
So recently I went to an event in Chelsworth with my family (a small Suffolk village near Sudbury) called the 'Chelsworth Open Gardens'. We've been a couple of times before and every time we go we always find gardens that we haven't seen before. If you're a bit confused then basically you walk round the village and most of the gardens are open and you are allowed to go in and look around. It is £6 for adults and children go free. All the money raises goes to the village.
In some peoples gardens they also have refreshments, like teas and cakes. Some also have Hot Dogs and Burgers. A lot of the gardens are quite big and have things like ponds, summerhouses, little bridges, and some even have chickens (there was a really cute little chick that we saw too, that i have a picture of).
They were all really nice though, so I thought i'd show you some pictures that i took of them. I hope you enjoy them!

Cute Vintage table and Chairs
Creepy Cat and Duck Statue
Caterpillar
Cute Flowers
Another creepy statue, and HELLO amazing summerhouse!
Roses
Cute, little chubby chick
Pretty Flowers

Lily ( I think?)
Mock Orange (smells SO good!)
Cute Bridge
Succulents

My Favourite Lip Products ♡

Hello!

So for this blog post I'm going to be talking about some lip products that I've been loving recently.
I  have quite a few lip products, because I don't know why but I just love buying new ones and I do use lip balm ALL the time soooooo... I guess its okay? also I love trying out new products.

Strawberry, Raspberry, Orange, Passionberry, Watermelon

The first product that I've been loving are The Body Shop's Born Lippy's.
I like them because they smell SO nice and they also taste really good (don't worry I don't eat them though). They also come in cute little pots. However I don't always want to use them as obviously your finger gets all lip balmy (if that's a word). But I still really like them and some of them are slightly pigmented and they stay on your lips for a little while. They also aren't too sticky, which I like.
They are £2 each from Boots.

Cherry Me, Coral Crave, Peach Kiss, Pink Punch, Soothing Cherry
Next up, I've been loving Maybelline's Babylips.
There are so many different types and quite a few ranges, but I only have some of the original ones, one of the Dr Rescue ones, and another one that I think is a Chinese one. I really like them as I don't actually own a proper lipstick yet and these work really well instead of one as they are tinted lip balms. Some are really pigmented but others are just clear, which I also like. They come on really cute packaging and are just really nice.
The original ones are £2.99 and the Dr Rescue ones are £3.49 from Boots.

Strawberry Sorbet, Sweet Mint
Thirdly, I've really been loving EOS Lip Balms.
I recently got these two and I love them SO much! They smell amazing and I find that they really moisturise my lips. They are also really cute and easy to just put in your schoolbag or handbag as they are quite small. I love the design of them and I love that they are different to any other lip balm. These don't have any colour either, but that means its easier to put them on, as you don't need to worry about if it looks right.
These are £7 from Topshop (I don't know where else you can get them in the UK, apart from Amazon).

Chic

Next, I've been loving my Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lip-gloss in the colour 'Chic'.
I've been loving it because its so natural, but it still is a little something. It also smells so nice (a bit like peaches). Also I love it because its Tanya Burrs product and she is one of my favourite ever YouTubers, so that makes it 100x better. I hope to get some more of these soon as they are so nice and are such good quality.
They are £6.99 from Superdrug.

Classic

I've also really been loving Carmex.
I only got this recently because a friend recommended it, and I really like it. It sort of tingles when you put it on your lips, so it really feels like its working, and that its moisturising. The only thing I don't like that much about it, is the smell. I don't really know what it is, but i just don't like it.
It is £2.69 from Superdrug.

Fanta, Strawberry Fanta, Cherry-Cola, Coca-Cola, Vanilla-Cola, Sprite

Lastly, I've been really loving Lip Smackers.
They're REALLY moisturising on my lips and I love that they have so many flavours. I got this set of them for Christmas from a secret santa that we did in my class at school. It came in a really cute tin, that I still use to put bits and bobs in.
