Review: Real Techniques Makeup Brushes ♡

Hi!

So i'm thinking of doing lots of reviews on this blog as well as everything else, so I hope you like them. This first review as you can probably tell from the title is going to be a review of Real Techniques Makeup Brushes.

I have the 'Core Collection' set (which also comes with a little case to carry your brushes in), the 'Setting Brush', the 'Powder Brush', the 'Blush Brush', and the 'Expert Face Brush'. But i REALLY want to get the 'Eyes Starter set' too. So I think I'll save up for that!

What I like about these brushes are that they are really soft. They are also all synthetic, so they aren't harming animals, which is definitely a pro. They are also quite good quality for the price and I love that they are all colour co-ordinated. The 'Base' brushes are a sort of orangey gold, the 'Finish' brushes are pink, and the 'Eyes' brushes are purple. There are lots of different brushes and I find that they all just work so well to apply makeup. They also never malt, which is amazing! I also love the design of them and how they look. They have a metal handle and then a sort of smooth plastic at the end. Some of them also sort of flare out at the bottom a bit.

If you're not sure about what these brushes are, they are basically 'high tech' makeup brushes designed by Sam and Nic Chapman (who are sisters). They are professional makeup artists and they also have a YouTube channel ('realtechniques' and 'pixiwoo') where they post makeup tutorials and show you how to use their brushes at their best. You can get these brushes at Superdrug and Boots (in the UK). I DEFINITELY recommend them!

Real Techniques also have a 'Bold Metals' collection.

However, I don't have any of these yet. They are very expensive, as they are premium, they are weighted, they have a diamond shaped anti-roll handle, each bristle is tapered to mimic real hair, and the bristled are hand tied and glued in.

Thank you for reading!
I hope you enjoyed this post, don't forget to follow this blog, comment, and share it with your friends if you like it!

Love, Emma x
